Benoit Moreau , , P. Eng., MBA , , President & Chief Executive Officer

Benoit Moreau has over 25 years of experience in the mining industry. A geologist who graduated from Université of Montreal, he has a mining engineer degree from École Polytechnique of Montreal and an MBA from University du Quebec à Montreal. Prior to joining Copper One, Benoit Moreau was Vice-President of Exploration and a Director of Otish Energy, from 2008 to 2011. He was the Founder and former President of GeoMega Resources Inc. and possesses intricate knowledge of the Montviel carbonatite complex, mineral rich region adjoining the Copper One properties in Québec. From 2006 to 2008, he was Project Manager for EarthMetrix Inc., a company offering mineral exploration services and from 1999 to 2006, he was president of Global Ionix Inc., a company specialized in metallurgical processes (acquired by Capimont Inc. in 2006). Benoit Moreau is a member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec.

François Laurin , , CA, CFA, ICD.D , , Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer

François Laurin is a seasoned financial officer with some 30 years of financial markets, financial reporting, controllership and operations experience with Canadian public companies in the transportation, tourism, telecommunications and media sectors. Prior to joining Copper One, Mr. Laurin was Chief Financial Officer of Consolidated Thompson Iron Mines (acquired by Cliff Resources in 2011) from 2009 to 2011, and Vice-President Finance and Chief Financial Officer at Transat A.T. Inc. from He also served as Vice-President, Investments with the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec’s - Private Investments group (CDP Capital). Mr Laurin is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Financial Analyst, is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants and the CFA Institute and earned a graduate diploma in Public Accountancy and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University. François Laurin is also President of Cap-Ex Ventures, a publicly traded exploration company.

Thomas R. Kilbey , , M.Sc. (Geology), P.Geo , , Vice-President, Exploration

Thomas Kilbey has more than 25 years of exploration and mine development experience with major and junior mining companies. Mr. Kilbey has worked across much of North America and parts of South America, locating and developing copper, gold, and silver deposits. Prior to joining Copper One in 2010, he was a Senior Geologist with Romarco Minerals from 2006 to 2009, where he was instrumental in Romarco’s acquisition of the Haile Gold Mine in South Carolina and in its expansion to other deposit-rich properties. Prior to that, he worked in exploration for Newcrest Resources, AngloGold, North Mining, Cyprus Metals, and Amax Gold.

Valery Zamuner , , LLB , , Corporate Secretary

Valery was General Counsel, Vice President Legal Affairs and Corporate Secretary for Consolidated Thompson Iron Mines Ltd. She played a central role in managing its off-take and partnership agreements with Wuhan Iron and Steel as well as work with Cliffs Natural Resources Inc.
